I. Scholarship Grants:
Scholarships offered by the Missouri Mycological Society, hereinafter referred to as MOMS, are one time grants, and are available to College Junior, Senior and Graduate students who are pursuing degrees in Mycology. Applicants must be residents of, or attending schools in, Missouri or bordering states. Bordering states are: Arkansas; Illinois; Iowa; Kansas; Kentucky; Nebraska and Tennessee. Applications may be made each year and may be awarded to the same person more than once. One scholarship will be available in 2012 for the academic year of 2012-2013, in the amount of $1,000.00.

II. Purpose of the Scholarship Program:
MOMS wishes to offer financial aid to students and promote study in Mycology. Applicants must be majoring in this field of study. (click here for Financial Aid Form)

III. Terms Under Which Scholarships are Awarded: (click here for Application Guidelines)
1) Applications must be submitted on the required application form, with all required additional information attached to the application form.
2) Applications must be mailed to MOMS at 2416 Clayton Pointe Court, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Applications must be received by June 1, 2012. Applications received after that date will not be considered.
3) All applications received, by the deadline, will be judged by a committee of MOMS officers, who will choose one winning application.
4) All applicants must have at least a 3.25 average (on a 4.0 scale) in order to apply. A complete official academic transcript, which includes the latest grading period, must be furnished. Graduate students must submit complete transcripts for undergraduate courses.
